Recruiting Talent
The Technical Recruiter, ASICs will own full-cycle recruiting for Normal’s silicon organization, including architects, RTL and DV engineers, physical design, and research-adjacent roles. They will source candidates who aren’t actively looking and close those who have multiple options. This role requires managing searches that directly impact whether a chip tapes out on schedule.
What You'll Own
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for senior hardware, ASIC, and silicon architecture roles from intake through close
- Engage top-tier talent in unconventional silicon architecture, design verification, and systems architecture roles
- Align on candidate qualifications, technical bars, and calibration with engineering hiring managers as searches evolve
- Maintain impeccable data hygiene and pipeline flow in Ashby
- Run the WHO Method for talent calibration and maintain high-efficiency interview loops
- Target 4-5 rounds maximum to ensure great candidates don’t die in process
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 4+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting, including direct experience recruiting ASIC, silicon, or semiconductor engineers
- A track record of closing senior engineers against competing offers
- Advanced fluency in Ashby (or comparable ATS) for candidate tracking, reporting, and process automation
- Operational excellence: low ego, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to move real work forward at the volume of a scaling startup
Bonus Points
- Exposure to AI/ML and software engineering recruiting in addition to hardware expertise
- Previous experience in a high-growth venture-backed startup, semiconductor company, or research lab
