About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Technical Recruiter to lead our hiring efforts across the engineering organization at Flex. This role is critical in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top-tier technical talent in software engineering, infrastructure, data science, security, and technical leadership.

The successful candidate will own the full-cycle recruitment process, from defining role requirements and sourcing strategies to closing candidates and building scalable hiring systems. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers, leadership, and the talent acquisition team to ensure we meet our growth objectives while maintaining high standards for talent quality.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with significant focus on technical talent acquisition
  • Proven success recruiting software engineers, data scientists, security specialists, and technical leaders in competitive markets
  • Experience designing and improving hiring processes, including rubrics, leveling frameworks, onboarding, and ATS architecture
  • Strong sourcing skills with the ability to run strategic outbound campaigns on platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, Reddit, Stack Overflow, and through referrals
  • Excellent organizational skills and data-driven mindset to analyze recruitment funnel metrics and optimize performance
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate requirements clearly and push back on vague or ambiguous role descriptions
  • Track record of sourcing and closing top 0.01% technical talent, demonstrating high ownership and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience working in startup or scale-up environments, ideally through growth phases
  • Familiarity with modern recruiting tools such as Ashby, Greenhouse, Gem, or similar platforms
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence hiring strategies at a senior level

Responsibilities

  • Own the entire recruitment lifecycle for engineering roles, including defining role scope, success criteria, and evaluation standards
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand team needs and develop tailored sourcing and assessment strategies
  • Build and execute outbound sourcing campaigns across multiple platforms to identify and engage high-caliber technical candidates
  • Cook up structured interview processes, ensuring consistency and quality of candidate evaluations
  • Drive offer development, including compensation alignment, leveling, and managing counter-offers to secure top talent
  • Maintain and optimize the applicant tracking system, ensuring pipeline hygiene, accurate feedback documentation, and data integrity
  • Develop and maintain hiring infrastructure such as interview rubrics, scorecards, leveling guides, and onboarding processes for new hires and hiring managers
  • Analyze recruitment funnel metrics—conversion rates, time-to-fill, source effectiveness—and implement improvements to increase efficiency and quality
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine hiring strategies, advocate for best practices, and elevate the overall talent acquisition process
