About the role
The role involves owning and closing priority technical searches to ensure a team of top-decile engineers can continue to ship causal AI solutions for Fortune 100 customers. Key responsibilities include carrying 6-8 technical searches full-cycle, partnering directly with engineering leadership, and ensuring searches are run efficiently with structured loops and same-week feedback.
Responsibilities
- Own and close technical searches
- Partner directly with engineering leadership
- Run searches with structured loops and same-week feedback
- Ensure hiring managers trust your judgment and push-back changes how searches are run
- Closing multiple technical hires at our bar, including candidates who had other offers
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience
- A closer's track record
- Data proficiency: diagnosing funnels by root cause, not anecdote
- An AI-native practice: experimenting with new tools and methods, looking for alpha
Qualifications
- Can tell us, specifically, about candidates you won against stronger brands, and how
- Learn businesses fast and sell them fluently
- Push back on hiring teams rather than push weak candidates, and have evidence-based arguments to do it well
- Speak and write plainly, honestly, and proactively
- Urgency and meticulous detail at the same time
