Technical Instructor (AWS DevOps)

About the role

Per Scholas is seeking a part-time AWS DevOps instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, problem-solving, adaptable, and accountable.

Responsibilities

• Support instructor-led training preparing students for AWS DevOps careers.
• Provide students with relevant resources for outside learning.
• Work with the team to identify student needs and establish individualized plans.
• Maintain and update Salesforce and/or LMS with student grades and progress.
• Support and maintain training curricula and classroom materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical/industry experience.
• Strong technical background and instructional skills.
• Active AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification preferred.
• Experience with AWS Professional Mastery, SDLC Automation, Infrastructure as Code, Observability & Logging, High Availability & Resilience, Security & Governance, Serverless & Event Automation, Generative AI Integration, Advanced Scripting, and Cloud Architecture.

Compensation

$65/hour
