About the role
The Team Lead supports a permanent supportive housing program aimed at helping adults aged 18 and older develop independence. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, fostering a collaborative team environment, and ensuring quality care.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily activities and operational performance of a team of direct care employees
- Ensure ongoing and transparent communication through huddles, one-to-one meetings, and approved communication resources
- Promote a culture of strong performance and high morale
- Provide orientation, training, and mentoring to new employees
- Coordinate and train employees on program service delivery model
- Ensure employee compliance with company policy, procedures, and operational expectations
- Address performance problems and provide support
- Improve employee competence by providing educational resources and training
- Improve clinical, operational, and financial results by analyzing data, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management
- Prepare and analyze reports as required
- Manage employee timecards and other payroll responsibilities
- Work with the Quality Assurance department and Valley Leadership to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Perform client care responsibilities including targeted case management, medication distribution, client transportation, etc.
- Coordinate with leadership to ensure shift coverage and provide on-call coverage as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months direct care experience
- CPR certification as required by department
- Valley de-escalation certification as required by department
- Driving positions require a current Utah Driver’s license, must be 21
Qualifications
- One year of supervisory experience preferred

Pay
Range starts at $20.65/hour, with pay calculated based on years of related experience. Shift Differential: Additional $2.25/hour $2,000 Retention Sign-on Bonus!!!!
Schedule
Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 4:00pm
