About the role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader to guide a team of Project Operations Managers ("POM"). Our Project Operations Managers focus on delivering complex global rollouts for our customers and ensuring they go live efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Project Operations Managers to deliver a great customer experience and get customers live efficiently, with Business As Usual processes that scale well.
- Act as a partner and escalation layer for the team, helping to navigate complex projects and technical challenges.
- Create an inspiring and collaborative team environment with an open communication and feedback culture.
- Scales up the team while preserving the Adyen formula and ensuring our unique culture is fostered.
- Drive continuous improvement, understanding what works today and leveraging ideas and insights to make the process better.
- Ambassador of change; help lead the charge of new initiatives.
- Collaborate with other teams and drive initiatives to grow the (global) POM organization, in size, quality and scalability.
- Help define and execute strategic initiatives with the goal of advancing our function.
Requirements
- A seasoned manager with experience in managing a high-performing, senior team (at least 5 years with direct reports).
- This includes performance review, coaching, setting goals and objectives.
- Project Management acumen, having worked with enterprise customers within a large global company.
- A proven track record of helping drive global process change, setting up tools and implementing procedures.
- A self-starter who sees a problem and takes initiative to solve it.
- A clear understanding of the challenges of global commerce and the various components required of a client to be successful across different regions.
Qualifications
- Willingness to work in the office 3 days a week (this is not a remote position).
- Willingness to travel, both domestically and internationally where required.
Benefits
