About the role

Aptive/Artemis seeks an Operations Lead responsible for overseeing the day-to-day execution, coordination, and management of program operations supporting large-scale federal transition assistance services for military Service members and Veterans.

Responsibilities

  • Manages workforce operations, monitors performance metrics, supports staffing and deployment activities, tracks operational risks, and ensures continuity of services across all assigned locations.
  • Oversight of operational reporting, facilitation of communication between stakeholders, support of training and onboarding initiatives, and implementation of quality assurance and process improvement efforts.
  • Ensures operational alignment with program management plans, supports issue resolution, and maintains awareness of evolving program requirements to minimize disruptions and maintain high levels of customer service and mission effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Strong experience managing operational programs within the Federal Government or Department of Defense environment, with demonstrated expertise in coordinating large-scale operations and leading distributed teams.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience overseeing geographically dispersed personnel, coordinating schedules and resources, and supporting government program execution is highly preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Proven experience in managing the day-to-day operations of a dispersed workforce.
  • Ability to issue directives and schedules necessary to ensure effective project management.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Experience supporting complex projects and transformation efforts within the federal government.
  • Comfortable with supporting complex client relationships.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
