Teacher Aid

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in implementing age-appropriate activities
• Create a positive, engaging classroom environment
• Prepare and set up materials and activities for daily instruction
• Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, and transitions
• Assist with daily care routines such as feeding, diapering, toileting, and hygiene practices
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom environment
• Foster positive relationships with children
• Encourage social development through guidance, redirection, and positive reinforcement
• Build respectful and professional relationships with families
• Support open communication with parents and guardians
• Assist in addressing parent questions or concerns
• Work collaboratively with the Lead Teacher and other staff members
• Be flexible and assist in other classrooms or duties as needed

• Follow direction while also taking initiative when appropriate
