TDCJ - Program Supervisor III - Chaplaincy and Vol

Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate program activities and services at the West Hill Mall locations, suite 370.
- Participate in the development of program goals and objectives.
- Oversee the completion of and prepare and review reports on the effectiveness of programs and services.
- Conduct special investigations, program analyses, and research studies; recommend improvements.
- Prepare and assist in the preparation of program correspondence, reports, studies, and specialized research projects.
- Prepare program budget requests.
- Supervise the work of others; provide training and technical assistance in the program area.
- Perform a variety of marginal duties not listed, to be determined and assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Five years full-time, wage-earning experience in public administration, technical program support, program administration, or criminal justice.
- Experience in the supervision of employees (preferred).
- Criminal justice experience (preferred).
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship or financial assistance.
- Outside applicants will be required to submit to pre-employment drug testing as a condition of employment.
