About the role
This position will report to the assigned unit under the Supervision of the Regional Chaplain III. Duties will include providing spiritual guidance through faith-based dorms and volunteer programs focusing on moral rehabilitation to improve public safety and reduce recidivism.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating faith-based programming
- Supervising field ministry operation
- Preparing statistical reports in a timely manner
- Providing one-on-one spiritual support to inmates and staff
- Managing a host of volunteers and volunteer programs
Requirements
- Background in ministry
- Ministerial bachelor's degree
- Good communication skills
- Basic knowledge of computer systems involving word and Excel spreadsheets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's, master's, or PhD with major coursework in Divinity
- Strong work ethic
- Proficiency in creating reports using computer network systems
Pay
- Chaplain I: $3,978.76 – $4,065.09
- Chaplain II: $4,471.36 – $4,570.01
Schedule
Position may make day trips, but no overnight trips.
