Tax Accountant - Retail

Role Overview Join as a dedicated TurboTax Retail Expert to provide in-person tax assistance at retail locations across the country. This role combines tax expertise, community engagement, and entrepreneurial spirit to serve customers, offering full-service tax return preparation, advice, and product support. You will build long-term customer relationships, attract new clients through local marketing, and represent TurboTax as a community ambassador. Key Responsibilities Deliver personalized tax advice and preparation for various tax situations, maximizing refunds and minimizing liabilities.Engage with community prospects, foster relationships, and participate in local marketing efforts to grow client base.Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism, empathy, and financial goal support.Utilize tax software and resources to ensure accurate, compliant, and accessible service. Qualifications & Skills Active EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of experience filing individual tax returns using professional software.Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) and willingness to obtain necessary state licenses.Comfort working onsite in a retail environment, with strong communication, customer service, and community engagement skills.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and leverage technology effectively.Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) and experience in holistic tax advisory are pluses.
