Tax Accountant - Retail

Role Overview We are seeking motivated Retail Experts to provide in-person tax assistance at designated locations. Responsibilities Include Serving as a trusted advisor by delivering full-service tax return preparation, advice, and software support for a variety of tax situations.Building community relationships through proactive outreach, representing the brand locally, and attracting new clients.Creating exceptional customer experiences by understanding client needs, uncovering deductions, minimizing liabilities, and providing tailored tax planning.Engaging with customers face-to-face and via digital tools to address inquiries and foster long-term trust. Qualifications & Skills Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of tax preparation experience.Experience filing 30+ federal and state individual tax returns using professional software.Knowledge of tax law, Circular 230, and current tax preparation regulations.Strong communication, customer service, and community engagement skills.Comfort working onsite in a retail environment, with flexibility to work weekends.Proficiency with tax software, CRM tools, and digital presentation.Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) and entrepreneurial mindset are a plus.
