Tax Accountant - Retail

Role Overview Seeking motivated individuals to serve as TurboTax Retail Experts at retail or flagship locations, providing in-person tax assistance and building community relationships. They will offer comprehensive tax advice, prepare returns, identify deductions, and support clients through personalized service, fostering trust and loyalty. Key Responsibilities Act as a community ambassador, engaging prospects and promoting TurboTax services locally.Deliver expert tax advice, handle complex tax situations, and utilize resources for accurate, personalized solutions.Create an exceptional customer experience by understanding client goals, addressing inquiries, and building long-term relationships.Participate in local marketing efforts, generate content, and grow the client base within the community. Qualifications & Skills Active EA, CPA, or attorney license with substantial tax preparation experience (minimum 3 years, filing 30+ returns per season).Knowledge of tax law, Circular 230, and ability to obtain necessary state licenses.Comfort working onsite, with strong communication skills, bilingual ability (a plus), and proficiency with tax software and CRM tools.Entrepreneurial mindset, customer-service oriented, with a friendly, professional demeanor.Willing to work in a retail environment, wear a uniform, and engage in community activities.
