Tax Accountant - Retail

The TurboTax Retail Expert role involves providing in-person tax preparation, advice, and support at retail locations. Responsibilities Include Serving as a trusted community ambassador to attract and retain clientsOffering comprehensive tax services for various situations, optimizing deductions, and planning for the futureDelivering exceptional customer experiences through professionalism and personalized assistanceEngaging with customers both face-to-face and via digital tools to build long-term relationshipsParticipating in local marketing efforts and community engagement activities Qualifications Active EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of tax preparation experienceExperience filing 30+ federal and state individual returns annuallyKnowledge of tax laws, familiarity with Circular 230, and ability to obtain necessary licensesComfort working onsite, with strong communication skills, and bilingual abilities a plusEntrepreneurial mindset, customer-focused attitude, and proficiency with tax software and CRM tools Key Attributes: Passion for empowering clients, community engagement, self-driven, excellent communication, adaptability, and professionalism.
