Tax Accountant - Retail

Role Overview: This position involves serving as a dedicated TurboTax Retail Expert at retail or flagship locations, providing in-person tax services and community engagement. Responsibilities Tax Expertise & Customer Service: Offer full-service tax preparation, advice, and software support for diverse tax situations, ensuring personalized assistance and building long-term client relationships. Community Engagement: Act as a community ambassador, promoting TurboTax locally, engaging prospects, and participating in marketing efforts to make tax topics accessible. Client Growth & Retention: Attract new clients, nurture leads, and foster customer loyalty through proactive outreach and exceptional service. Qualifications & Skills Active EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of tax preparation experience filing 30+ federal and state returns annually.Knowledge of tax laws, Circular 230, and ability to work onsite at retail locations. Strong communication, customer service, and technological proficiency, with bilingual skills a plus. Entrepreneurial mindset, self-driven, and passionate about community engagement. Additional Details: The role involves working in a retail environment, wearing a uniform, and creating accessible tax content for the community. Compensation includes base pay, bonuses, and benefits. Must reside within the U.S. and obtain necessary licenses.
