Tax Accountant - Retail

We are seeking dedicated TurboTax Retail Experts to serve as trusted advisors at in-person locations across the country. Key Responsibilities Include Providing hands-on tax advice, preparing tax returns, and offering personalized guidance for simple to complex tax situations.Engaging with the community as a proactive ambassador, attracting new clients, and building long-term relationships through marketing and outreach.Creating an exceptional customer experience by understanding clients' financial goals, addressing inquiries, and fostering trust.Utilizing tax software, resources, and team expertise to deliver accurate, accessible tax solutions.Supporting local marketing efforts and building a social presence, including creating tax-related content. Qualifications And Skills Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of tax preparation experience.Experience filing 30+ federal and state tax returns per season using professional software.Familiarity with Circular 230 and ability to obtain state licenses as needed.Strong communication skills, bilingual ability (English/Spanish) a plus, and proficiency with technology.Entrepreneurial mindset, high empathy, and excellent customer service skills.Willingness to work onsite in a retail environment, wear a uniform, and engage with the community. Additional attributes: Passion for empowering clients, building community presence, and managing multiple priorities independently. Residing within the U.S. is required.
