Tax Accountant - Retail

We are seeking dedicated Retail Experts to provide in-person tax assistance at TurboTax retail locations, serving as trusted advisors to help customers navigate their tax needs. Responsibilities include: Delivering full-service tax return preparation, advice, and support for simple to complex tax situationsBuilding long-term customer relationships and increasing community engagementServing as a community ambassador by promoting TurboTax locally and participating in marketing effortsCreating an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and personalized serviceUtilizing tax knowledge and resources to optimize deductions, minimize liabilities, and plan for the future Qualifications and Skills: Active EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of relevant tax preparation experienceExperience filing 30+ federal and state individual returns per season using professional softwareKnowledge of tax law, Circular 230, and PTIN requirementsStrong communication, customer service, and technology skillsAbility to work onsite, be community-focused, and develop a social presence; bilingual skills are a plusWillingness to wear a uniform and work in a retail environment Additional Details: Must reside in the United States and obtain necessary licensesOpportunities for growth include community engagement, marketing, and creating tax contentCompetitive pay, bonuses, and benefits are provided
