Tax Accountant - Retail

We are seeking dedicated TurboTax Retail Experts to provide in-person tax assistance at retail or flagship locations across the country. Responsibilities include: Offering comprehensive tax advice and preparing returns for simple to complex situationsEngaging with the community as a proactive ambassador to attract and retain clientsBuilding long-term relationships through personalized service and trustParticipating in local marketing efforts to promote tax awareness and accessibilityUtilizing TurboTax software and resources to deliver accurate, efficient solutionsSupporting customer financial goals such as refunds, deductions, and future planning Qualifications and Skills: Active EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of tax experience filing 30+ returns annuallyKnowledge of tax law, Circular 230, and ability to obtain necessary state licensesStrong communication skills, bilingual ability a plusComfort working onsite in a retail environment, managing multiple priorities independentlyPassion for community engagement, customer service, and building a local client base Additional Attributes: Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, friendly demeanorTech-savvy with experience in tax software and CRM toolsWillingness to wear a uniform and work in a front-facing retail setting This role offers competitive pay, performance bonuses, and benefits, with opportunities for growth and community impact.
