Join Strategic Solution Partners (SSP) as a Task Force Consultant and play a critical role in supporting the successful execution of IT projects and initiatives. This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional who can work independently, keep projects organized and moving forward, and communicate effectively with Senior Leadership and key stakeholders. This is a Task Force travel position with potential for hybrid/remote work.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource allocations to ensure successful project execution.
- Coordinate project activities and deliverables to meet established objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Manage multiple IT projects and assignments simultaneously while maintaining clear priorities and consistent follow-through.
- Document project requirements, assignments, progress, decisions, and next steps accurately and consistently.
- Provide clear, timely project status updates to Senior Leadership and key stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, address concerns, and maintain alignment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders to ensure collaboration and support for project goals.
- Lead and motivate project teams to achieve objectives and deliver high-quality results.
- Provide guidance and support to team members while proactively resolving obstacles and conflicts.
- Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies and develop appropriate mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Monitor project progress and performance, taking corrective action when necessary to keep projects on track.
- Ensure project deliverables meet established quality standards, requirements, and compliance expectations.
- Conduct regular reviews of project activities, documentation, and outcomes to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strong communication, organization, and accountability.
Requirements
- Legal to work in the United States
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in branded Hotels
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, Project Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role managing complex IT projects from initiation through completion
- Strong systems knowledge and demonstrated ability to manage multiple technology-related projects and priorities
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and/or PMBOK
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing assignments and meet deadlines
- Highly detail-oriented, self-directed, organized, and capable of maintaining accurate project documentation
- Ability to clearly communicate project status, priorities, risks, and next steps to Senior Leadership
- Creative and innovative problem solver with strong analytical skills
- Ability to adapt quickly, work independently, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- PMP, CAPM, or other project management certifications are a plus
