Multi-Function Information System Analyst – Mission Planning Admin

About the role

This is an operational support role to an active fighter unit. You will be responsible for the security and integrity of systems that keep our jets flying.

Responsibilities

• Provides, manages, and supports the Mission Planning Support Boundary (MPSB) Support pilots in Mission Planning/Debriefing and identify/resolve system shortfalls
• Aids in Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) installation and data updates
• Supports, administers, and monitors associated hardware/software and pilot accounts
• Performs COMSEC duties and adheres to requirements
• Provides pilots and ALIS administrators guidance on capabilities and usage of mission planning tools (e.g., JMPS, PCDS, PGMPS, and the PFA Tool)
• Applies operating system updates, anti-virus/anti-spyware updates, and patch updates

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA)
• Windows System Administration Experience
• Mission Planning Experience
• Oracle/SQL experience
• Network Administration Experience

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: Candidates must have a Secret security clearance with investigation within the last 6 years and ability to obtain and retain DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA).

Skills

• Windows (administrator and general use experience)
• Account Maintenance (Account creation/management with Active Directory)
• Precision Guided Munitions Planning Software (PGMPS) Mission Planning Systems Support Representatives (SSR)
• Personal Computer Debrief Software (PCDS)
• Military Flight Operations & Planning Processes
• Backups of Physical servers (Windows 2003 OS), virtual machines, and ESX server
• Knowledge of installing Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM)
• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, to include the JSF ALIS hardware and software
• Database Administration experience
