Talent Acquisition Specialist II

Role Details

Compensation: $37/hr W2
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and direct primary care benefits. After six months of employment, enjoy a 4% matched 401(k) plan with immediate 100% vesting.
Duration: 12-month contract
Location: Fairborn, OH (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Talent Advisors to deliver a seamless hiring experience for managers and candidates
• Source and pre-screen candidates for engineering roles across CO and OH
• Conduct phone screens and coordinate interview logistics
• Create and extend offers, including salary recommendations
• Negotiate offers and manage candidate expectations
• Develop and execute sourcing and outreach strategies to attract top talent
• Build and maintain the employment brand through networking and social media
• Track and report key recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire
• Ensure compliance with hiring processes, policies, and laws
• Maintain a consistent work schedule and manage up to 30 concurrent requisitions
• Foster positive relationships with hiring managers and internal stakeholders
• Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent, with at least 2 years of related experience (or a higher degree substituting for two years of experience)
• Minimum of 6 years recruiting experience if a degree is not held
• Prior recruiting experience within a technical organization or aerospace/defense industry
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, preferably BrassRing
• Experience using sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter
• Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
• Detail-oriented and able to follow established hiring processes
• Solid business acumen and quality decision-making skills
• Willingness to travel locally and maintain confidentiality
