Based in Houston’s Greenway office, this pivotal role offers the chance to coordinate strategic university recruiting initiatives, support intern programs, and play a key part in shaping early career talent pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Support comprehensive campus recruiting efforts—including pre-visit planning, event coordination, and post-event follow-up.
  • Coordinate logistics for career fairs and university events, handling shipping, setup, tracking, and branding alignment.
  • Manage event details in Yello, including scheduling interviews and organizing panels.
  • Build and sustain relationships with universities, student organizations, and campus partners to enhance recruitment outreach.
  • Facilitate candidate travel arrangements, accommodations, and interview schedules, while tracking expenses and reimbursements.
  • Maintain and update candidate systems and applicant tracking data diligently.
  • Assist in planning and executing the summer intern program, from onboarding to performance evaluations and event planning.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, manage invoicing, and keep inventory of promotional materials and giveaways.
  • Track recruitment metrics, participation rates, and compile reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with hiring standards and Affirmative Action policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience, with at least 1 year in university relations or university recruiting support.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating interviews, events, and logistics.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Hands-on experience with recruiting or event platforms such as Yello, Handshake, and familiarity with Workday are highly valued.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and work effectively across teams.

Nice To Have Skills

  • Previous experience supporting or advising university relations or recruiting teams.
  • Experience in vendor management and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of tracking and reporting recruitment metrics.

Other Requirements

This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for extension or full-time conversion based on performance. The role requires in-person participation at the Houston Greenway office, with a hybrid schedule (9/80 work schedule, in-office Tuesday through Thursday). Ability to work quickly and efficiently during a busy fall recruiting cycle; previous experience coordinating interviews and events in fast-paced environments is preferred. Willingness to support travel arrangements and logistics coordination as needed.
