Talent Acquisition Coordinator
About the role
This role is based at our HQ in McLean, VA. While working in-person with customers is our top priority, we also believe that being in the office fosters the in-person collaboration that Appian was built on. Employees hired for this position are expected to be in the office 5 days a week, unless on a customer site, to support this culture and help us continue to thrive.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end candidate lifecycle logistics, managing clear communication and scheduling across virtual and in-person interviews.
- Deliver a high-quality candidate experience, ensuring candidates are informed, supported, and updated at every step of the process.
- Partner with hiring teams across multiple time zones to align schedules, optimize interview flows, and maintain steady hiring momentum.
- Develop and customize candidate messaging templates and resource guides to ensure clear, impactful, and professional communication.
- Identify process improvements using proactive problem-solving to streamline coordination workflows and daily operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (required).
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear, professional, and candidate-focused approach.
- Proven problem-solving ability, adaptability, and proactive initiative.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience or exposure in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or administrative coordination is a plus.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Meet) and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Greenhouse.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze coordination challenges and implement practical solutions.
Pay
The base salary range represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant work experience, qualifications, internal peer equity, and market and business conditions that exist when extending an offer. A discretionary bonus may be awarded in recognition of individual and company performance.
Base Salary Range: $50,000 USD - $100,000 USD
