Responsibilities
- Cook up with operations partners and the accounting team to gather info, clear issues, and settle discrepancies.
- Perform regular reconciliations for rent, operating expenses, and other charges to make sure records are full and accurate.
- Make and document journal entries to fix general ledger coding and assist proper financial reporting.
- Handle incoming emails, requests, and docs to answer inquiries and direct items to the right parties when necessary.
- Guide store teams on set-up procedures and documentation requirements to boost consistency and compliance.
- Investigate payment variances and account differences by digging into supporting records and following up with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain organized accounting support files and reconciliation records for audit readiness and ongoing reference.
- Have the ability to perform high-volume reconciliations with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
- Show strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Show proficiency with spreadsheets and standard office software utilized for financial tracking and reporting.
- Show the ability to handle multiple requests, prioritize effectively, and meet recurring deadlines.
- Show problem-solving skills with the ability to research discrepancies and recommend appropriate corrections.
Qualifications
Detail-oriented and able to manage recurring reconciliations with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with spreadsheets and standard office software used for financial tracking and reporting.
