Systems Engineer

About the role

The Role Develop new concepts for anti-air warfare, surface warfare, and precision strike. Solve complex systems-of-systems integration challenges for various naval platforms including destroyers, aircraft carriers, and unmanned vehicles. Gain deep expertise in command-and-control systems such as AEGIS, SSDS, and Zumwalt. Analyze data flows, software logic, and interfaces to develop and enhance capabilities. Generate essential systems engineering documentation, including specifications, requirements, and test plans. Analyze combat system test data to identify issues and propose solutions.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex systems-of-systems integration challenges for various naval platforms including destroyers, aircraft carriers, and unmanned vehicles.
• Analyze data flows, software logic, and interfaces to develop and enhance capabilities.
• Generate essential systems engineering documentation, including specifications, requirements, and test plans.
• Analyze combat system test data to identify issues and propose solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Math, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in engineering, technical analysis, or systems integration.
• Experience in Anti-Air Warfare (AAW), Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD), Surface Warfare (SuW), or precision strike systems.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
