About the role

As a Systems Engineer at Bigbear.ai, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud-based systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our systems meet high availability standards and support our business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions
• Collaborate with software development teams to integrate hardware and software components
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues

• Develop and maintain documentation for systems and processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and storage technologies
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Qualifications

• Experience with DevOps tools and practices
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Hands-on experience with serverless architectures
