About the role

The System Administrator is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of all systems and services.

Responsibilities

• Manage server operations, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
• Implement and monitor network security measures to protect company data.
• Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot system issues.
• Perform backups and disaster recovery procedures as needed.
• Stay updated with new technologies and industry trends to enhance efficiency and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of SQL and database management systems.

Skills

• Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Understanding of network protocols and firewalls.
