Survey Technician II
About the role
MSA, a leading consulting firm, is hiring a Survey Technician II at our Rhinelander, WI office location.
Responsibilities
- Field work, including staking and surveying
- Perform other office functions, including data reduction/computations, digital terrain modeling/surface creation
- Assist project managers in the preparation of land survey documents
- CAD drafting for municipal infrastructure projects
- Assist in municipal plan preparation
Qualifications
- An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in surveying, civil engineering technology, or related degree preferred
- A high school diploma or GED required
- Surveyor in Training (SIT), or Certified Survey Technician (CST) preferred
- A valid driver’s license is required
- 4+ years of prior experience with land surveying experience required
- Previous experience with AutoCad/Civil 3D is preferred

- The pay rate for this position ranges from $24 to $38 per hour, commensurate with experience. Higher compensation within this range will be paid to candidates with significant experience and exceptional qualifications.
