Survey Project Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Work with MJ project managers and external clients to develop proposals for survey work.
• Cook up proposal due dates with project managers and department group managers.
• Coordinate and schedule field personnel.
• Act as a liaison between the survey office production staff and the survey project managers.
• Responsible for coordinating and maintaining survey vehicles.
• Cook up project deliverable due dates with project managers and clients.
• Attend weekly departmental meetings.
• Review budget adherence throughout the project with field personnel, survey project managers and production staff.
• Able to review and work within Bluebeam, AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Organize and coordinate the work of field and office staff required to complete design, field and/or other tasks.
• Monitor the work efforts of assigned staff including sub-consultants and/or contractors.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in surveying technology, bachelor’s or associate degree in engineering technology, associate’s degree in construction technology, or related field preferred
• 4+ years of experience in land surveying, engineering or construction preferred
• Ability to travel within a three-hour radius
• Strong communication skills
• Strong writing skills
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or be eligible to work without an employer sponsorship

Pay

Compensation is based on the applicant’s experience and will be rated accordingly. MJ offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.

$65,000 - $95,000 (based on experience)
