Surveillance Operator - Greensburg

About the Role

As a Surveillance Operator, you are accountable for observing and protecting casino assets via CCTV. You will monitor all activities of guests and team members on the casino floor, cage, change booths, and count rooms to detect criminal activities or violations of State Gaming Agency regulations and company policies. Additionally, you will ensure safety by observing the casino, atrium, and parking areas for hazards.

Responsibilities

• Operate monitor room equipment, including CCTV systems.
• Complete proper reports and documentation as needed.
• Assist in training on CCTV equipment and alarms.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the State Gaming Agency.
• One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in security and/or surveillance.
• Knowledge of computers and CCTV equipment.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work in a confined space with low lighting.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 30 lbs.
• Must have excellent vision and hearing.
• Must be able to grasp, handle, and reach with hands and fingers.
• Stand and walk 30% of the time.

Working Conditions

• 24/7 high-energy casino environment with over 100,000 sq. ft. of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 500 employees.
• Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
• Work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
