SURVEILLANCE AGENT - CB & VR - FULL-TIME - VARIED SHIFT

Starting rate: $20.00/hour. Minimum age requirement: 21 years old. Requires a State of Nevada Gaming Permit; must attend training and pass the Title 31 test prior to the first shift, plus annual training and testing.

About the role

The Surveillance Agent observes guest and team-member activities on property via closed-circuit television to detect criminal activity and/or violations of State Regulations, Internal Controls, Company Policies & Procedures, and reports suspicious or inappropriate behavior. Agents must demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of Surveillance and Casino operations and complete all core training requirements in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Surveillance Room in accordance with regulations and procedures.
• Observe casino activities and ensure that all policies, procedures, and regulations are adhered to.
• Observe, report, and document suspected criminal activity and unusual activities.
• Observe table game play for Dealer and Player evaluation.
• Conduct in-depth evaluations of styles of play to establish legitimacy or Advantage play.
• Perform investigative reviews and audits with Reports when directed.
• Other job-related duties as assigned and instructed by management.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge in Casino Operations is preferred but not required.
• Must be mentally strong and able to cope with many challenges.
• Must demonstrate the ability to communicate in English effectively, both written and verbal.
• Must possess basic knowledge and operations of a computer system, including Word and Excel.

Physical Demands

• Long periods of sitting; short periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, twisting, reaching, grasping, pulling, or pushing.
• Recurring lifting of light items.

Work Environment

• 24/7 work environment with varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Adequately lighted, heated/cooled, and ventilated work area with controlled temperatures of 70–76 degrees.
• Variable lighting conditions.
• Everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions typical of offices, meeting and training rooms, libraries, and residences.
