Major Job Duties
- Observe and report on all areas under surveillance to ensure compliance with the Hotel and Casino’s in-house Regulation “6”, Gaming Control Board Regulations, and in-house gaming policies and procedures.
- Record and observe casino games, sports book, count rooms, slots, keno, bar areas and casino cage, cashier areas including all money transactions.
- Know basic strategy of all games and the count(s).
- Write all necessary incident reports.
- Communicate with Casino, Cage, Security and Slot Management with any relative information.
- Rotate all video tapes when necessary.
- Perform technical maintenance, as required.
- Present self in a professional manner possessing a team attitude at all times.
- Must provide courteous and friendly service to all guests, staff and co-workers.
- Perform related work as requested.
Experience
- 6 months gaming experience.
Educational Background
- High School Diploma or GED and some college level courses.
- Courses in Protection of Casino Games / Casino Operations and Management is preferred.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of all phases of gaming operations, Casino games (Casino, Cage, Slot Operations, and Casino games), and ability to identify methods of cheating.
- Basic knowledge of video equipment.
- Able to interface with all departments under surveillance, outside law enforcement agencies and Surveillance Information Network.
- Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and customers.
- Ability to use common sense in making decisions and determinations regarding irregular activities.
Certification/License
- Gaming License.
Starting Salary
$19.00 Hourly
