Surgical Tech / OR Tech II

About the Role

The OR Tech II collaborates with perioperative nurses to provide age-specific patient care, ensuring safe surgical environments and optimal physiologic responses during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and preparing the operating room for surgeries.
• Maintain sterile techniques and support surgical teams across various service lines, including robotics, vascular, neurovascular, and trauma cases.
• Ensure patient safety and facilitate positive surgical outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with team members and perform independently when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a surgical technician training program.
• 2–3 years of experience with strong knowledge of scrub skills in multiple service lines.
• Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA) and current BLS certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, flexibility, multitasking, and independent work skills.

Schedule

Work evening shifts, including every other weekend and holidays.
