Surgical Tech / OR Tech II
Job Overview
In collaboration with the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age-specific care to patients, maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes, and ensure patient’s physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative division.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an Surgical Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Must be able to make calls
- Must be flexible, able to multitask and be able to work independently
Certifications And Licenses
- Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA) required
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification required with American Heart Association
Scheduling Requirements
- 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
- Every other weekend and Holiday

About the Role
The surgical technician will assist the operating room staff in preparing the operating room for surgery, assisting the surgeon during the procedure, and ensuring the patient’s recovery post-surgery.

Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent, completion of an Surgical Technician training program, 2 – 3 years of experience, strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma, excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written), must be able to make calls, must be flexible, able to multitask and be able to work independently, certified surgical technician (NBSTSA) required, current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification required with American Heart Association.

Pay
$31.41 - $38.42 per hour
Schedule
Evening shifts, every other weekend and holiday, full-time schedule.
