Surgical / OR Tech II

About the Role

The OR Tech II collaborates with perioperative nurses to organize and deliver age-specific patient care, ensuring safe surgical environments and physiologic stability during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures across various service lines
• Maintain sterile techniques
• Support team operations
• Communicate effectively with staff and patients
• Support safe patient outcomes
• Assist in complex surgeries
• Maintain a collaborative team environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of Surgical Technician training
• 2-3 years of experience
• Proficiency in scrubbing for robotics, vascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedic, plastic, and trauma cases

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA)
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
