About the role

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will support individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in their daily lives, helping them achieve independence and personal goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with household tasks such as housekeeping, meal prep, and cleaning.
• Support personal care needs including bathing, dressing, toileting, and diaper changes.
• Provide employment support and help plan and organize daily schedules.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands.
• Maintain daily documentation and report in electronic health systems.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level position with on-the-job training provided.
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping, nutrition, and safety protocols.
• Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and dependability.
• Proficiency or willingness to learn EHR systems.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
