Direct Support Professional / Group Home

About the role

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), you will help people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) complete everyday living tasks and achieve their goals in a group home in Raleigh, NC.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Saturday and Sunday, 8 AM–8 PM
• Regular local community travel required

Compensation

$15.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the home and community
• Assist with housekeeping, meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning
• Provide personal care such as bathing and dressing
• Support employment activities
• Transport clients to appointments and run errands
• Plan and organize client schedules
• Complete daily documentation and reporting in the electronic health record

Requirements

• Entry-level; on-the-job training is provided
• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic housekeeping, nutrition, and safety knowledge
• Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and dependability
• Proficiency with EHR systems or ability to learn quickly
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
