Direct Support Professional / Group Home

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you’ll play a critical role in carrying out that mission by helping people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) complete everyday living tasks and achieve their goals.
Schedule
Multiple schedule options available:
- Second shift Part time:
- Every other weekend: 3P-11PM
- Every other Monday: 3P-11PM
- Every other Thursday: 3PM-11PM
- Overnight Part time:
- 11P-7A Monday and every other Saturday and Sunday
- Full Time First/Second Shift:
- Option 1:
- Week 1: 11P-7A Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
- Week 2: 11P-7A Monday through Friday
- Option 2:
- Week 1: 3P-11P Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday
- Week 2: 3P-11P Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (off every other weekend)
- Option 3:
- Week 1: 7A-3P Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday
- Week 2: 7A-3P Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (off every other weekend)
- Option 1:
Responsibilities
- Provide care in the home of the individual and the community they live in.
- Assist with everyday tasks such as:
- Housekeeping, meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning
- Personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and changing diapers
- Employment support
- Transport the client to appointments and run errands.
- Help plan and organize their schedule.
- Perform daily documentation and reporting in the electronic health system of record.

Pay
$17.00/hour
Requirements
- Experience: Entry-level; on-the-job training is provided.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Knowledge: Basic housekeeping, basic nutrition, and safety protocols.
- Skills: Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and dependability are a must.
- Technology: Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy to learn.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation, a driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
