At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), our mission is rooted in empowering individuals and strengthening communities. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you’ll play a critical role in carrying out that mission by helping people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) complete everyday living tasks and achieve their goals living in our group home in Raleigh, NC.

Location: Raleigh, NC, with regular local community travel

About the role

  • Provide care in the home of the individual and the community they live in
  • Assist with everyday tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning
  • Provide personal care such as bathing and dressing
  • Offer employment support
  • Transport the client to appointments and run errands
  • Help plan and organize their schedule
  • Perform daily documentation and reporting in the electronic health system of record

Pay

$15.00 hourly

Schedule

Part-time: 7 AM - 7 PM Saturday and Sunday

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Basic knowledge of housekeeping, nutrition, and safety protocols
  • Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and dependability
  • Proficiency with EHR systems or ability to learn
  • Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
