About the role
The job is for a Shift Manager position in a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee. Applicants must be 18 years or older.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts weekly, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
- Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards.
- Monitor performance during the shift, take corrective actions as needed, and ensure safety, security, and profitability.
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
- Meet targets during their shift and assist in meeting Department goals.
- Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
- Ensure food safety and quality production.
- Handle internal communication and customer service.
- Manage crew effectively.
- Perform scheduling and training duties.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A flexible schedule and the ability to work in a dynamic, energetic setting.
