About the role

The role involves leading shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers perform various tasks including planning for shifts, monitoring performance, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness, managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and training crew members.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to ensure great Quality, Service, and Cleanliness to customers.
• Plan for each shift and monitor performance during the shift.
• Ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards and take necessary actions.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to help prepare them for their shift.
• Meet targets during shifts and assist in meeting department goals.
• Manage food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance and cleanliness, crew management, quality food production, exceptional customer service, safety, and security.
• Train crew members as needed.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule and passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned and operated restaurants.
