About the role

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks including planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor each shift to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Train and mentor the crew.
• Meet and exceed targets set for the shift.
• Help departments meet their goals.
• Handle food safety, internal communication, and scheduling.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work nights and weekends.
• Must be 18 years or older.
