About the role

The role involves leading shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers are responsible for various tasks such as planning shifts, monitoring performance, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness, managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and training crew members.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to ensure great Quality, Service, and Cleanliness to customers.
• Plan for each shift and monitor performance during the shift.
• Take action to ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards.
• Maintain safety, security, and profitability.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to help prepare them for their shift.
• Meet targets during shifts and help assigned Departments meet their goals.
• Manage food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance and cleanliness, and crew.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and manage quality food production.
• Handle food safety, inventory management, and daily maintenance and cleanliness.
• Train crew members as needed.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• A positive attitude and a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• A flexible schedule and the ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Must be 18 years or older to be considered for this role.
