About the role

The job is for a Shift Manager position in a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. McDonald’s USA does not receive copies of applications or participate in employment decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts weekly, ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, friendly service.
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during shifts to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
• Maintain safety, security, and profitability during shifts.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
• Meet targets during shifts and assist in meeting departmental goals.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Manage inventory and daily maintenance.
• Monitor and manage the crew effectively.
• Ensure exceptional customer service.
• Manage quality food production.
• Handle scheduling and training responsibilities.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• Positive attitude and a flexible schedule.
• A passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years old to be considered for this role.
