SUPPLEMENTAL ONLY- BASEBALL (ASSISTANT COACH)

Position Goal

The Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions are available at NE High School in Oakland Park.

Essential Performance Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs for athletes.
• Provide guidance and instruction on the sport.
• Manage team practices and games.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

The Head Coach must have:

• A standard high school diploma or GED.
• A valid Florida Educator Certificate.
• The ability to impart knowledge of the sport.

The Assistant Coach must have:

• A standard high school diploma or GED.
• A knowledge of the activity.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Preferred qualifications for both positions include:

• Experience coaching the specific sport.
• Leadership experience.
• Ability to work effectively with students and staff.

Physical Requirements

Positions require the ability to:

• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Manage time efficiently.
• Travel as needed for team activities.

• Temporary/Subs status.
• Nonexempt classification.
