Supervisor - Retail

Position Summary

Aids the management team in store operations. Duties include management tasks, store opening/closing, overseeing production/retail operations, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

Essential Functions

• Provides excellent customer service.
• Leads, guides, trains, and develops staff in a positive environment to enhance productivity and meet departmental goals.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized store/department with merchandise properly displayed.
• Documents and reports concerns or issues promptly to management.
• Supports organizational initiatives like 4DX methodology.

Skills and Abilities

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of supervisory experience required.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including email, internet use, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Preferred: Valid CA driver's license, acceptable driving record, and an insured, reliable vehicle.

Requirements

• Operates electronic cash register.
• Understands stock, merchandise flow, quotas, cash handling, bank deposit procedures, and sales reports.
• Calculates basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, fractions, percentages).
• Reads and understands sales reports.
