About the role
The Supervisor, Diagnostic Imaging Non-Technical position at Olympic Medical Center is based on Washington State’s beautiful North Olympic Peninsula. This area offers a wide range of recreational activities such as hiking, camping, fishing, kayaking, and cycling. The region is also home to the scenic Olympic National Park, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, and the Pacific Coast, making it a desirable place to live, work, play, and raise a family.
Responsibilities
- Supervise non-technical staff in areas such as centralized scheduling, transcription, Imaging file room, and hospital reception / registration.
- Affirm patient care needs in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures.
- Facilitate optimal, cost-efficient patient care delivery by managing various work situations and prioritizing tasks.
- Show discretion, good judgment, problem-solving abilities, and strong leadership skills.
- Communicate with internal contacts including staff and management throughout OMC, and external contacts such as patients, families, physicians, and peers.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent education.
- Satisfactory completion of formal imaging technology training in an AMA approved school preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy preferred.
- Three years supervisory experience preferred.
- Two years experience in diagnostic imaging and scheduling preferred.

Pay
Competitive salary range: $28.53 - $42.79 per hour.
Schedule
Full-time, 100% work shift: Days.
