Supervisor Diagnostic Imaging - Imaging Admin

About the role

The Imaging Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the department and assists the Director and Manager with management functions for which the Director is accountable. They are technically and clinically competent in each licensed modality for all ages served.

Responsibilities

• Supervise department staff and assist in management functions
• Provide technical and clinical guidance to staff
• Collaborate with the Medical Director of Radiology and other medical staff
• Serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, and caregivers
• Participate in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities

Requirements

• Graduate of a program in any imaging modality approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Experience in an acute care/hospital imaging department

Qualifications

• Advanced qualifications in at least one specialty imaging area
• Supervisory or leadership experience
