SUMMARY
Mortenson is seeking a Superintendent that will provide coordination, planning, and supervision to assistant superintendents, contractors, and craft activities. This position offers opportunities at both level 1 and 2, with compensation based on experience and location.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and implement to support the project schedule
- Review construction documents for completeness and constructability
- Develop and manage project schedules, site logistics plans, and collaborate with project partners
- Coach, supervise, and develop team members
- Ensure proper task coding, lead and track work progress, and handle team member training
- Build effective relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
- Lead by example, offer coaching and feedback, and manage performance
- Provide high-level management of safety, quality, risk, and compliance
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or 10 years trade experience
- Current driver’s license
- Ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for multiple, complex projects
- Detail-oriented, able to organize and manage multiple project tasks
- Basic understanding of construction law and business practices
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Positive, professional attitude and strong customer service skills
- Ability to interpret and communicate company policies
- Effective communication and active listening skills, openness to diverse input and feedback

Superintendent I
- Minimum 5 years construction management or related experience
- Base pay range: $111,400 - $167,100
Superintendent 2
- Minimum 8 years construction management or related experience
- Base pay range: $130,100 - $195,200
