Responsibilities

  • Aids in safety enforcement and quality control inspections.
  • Coordinates assigned trade contractors and field activities to support adherence to approved schedules, budgets, and work plans.
  • Reviews and adheres to contract documents, drawings, and specifications for assigned scopes.
  • Maintains accurate daily field reports, safety documentation, and records using required construction management and safety operations systems.
  • Safeguards the site against safety hazards and enforces safety policies.
  • Supports self-performance operations, workforce planning, and quantification of labor, materials, and equipment needs for assigned scopes.
  • Assists with forecasting labor and material needs and supports cost-of-work tracking as required; supports material procurement, delivery coordination, and site logistics activities.
  • Manages daily reporting, documentation, and cost tracking in finance and construction management software.
  • Assists in resolving jurisdictional disputes and field-level issues within assigned scopes.
  • Implements and supports sustainability and environmental compliance initiatives within assigned scopes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • 3+ years’ experience leading crews of 20-25+ craft in a superintendent capacity, 5-8 years construction experience.
  • Superintendent experience on projects of total value $20 million - $50 million+.
  • OSHA 30 hour certified or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong technical and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, safety and site operations software, and construction management software.
  • Knowledge of construction-documenting and drawing, with knowledge of all phases of construction.
  • Knowledge in all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling, cost control and forecasting.

Benefits

Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team. For the Carolinas this ranges from $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
